A line of beauty

The reference turntable, which appeared in both "A Clockwork Orange" and "2001: A Space Odyssey," was later donated to the Museum of Modern Art and the London Design Museum. The Gyrodec was designed ten years later and has been in production ever since. Perhaps the iconic gold and black record player is the opposite of Dieter Rams minimalism but it is a design classic.
