Our previous R1 models were critically acclaimed for their sound, but with R1 Mk4 we have further raised the bar! With our heritage in high-fidelity loudspeakers we understand the complexities of enclosure and drive unit design and making sure that both are matched to each other. In particular our latest neodymium NS+ driver, as used in our R3 and R5 models, provides a smooth and extended frequency response and in R1 Mk4's tuned enclosure delivers an impressive bass performance.

With great sound and a wide range of abilities, on its own MRx makes a perfect system for your lounge, kitchen or study, but linked with other MRx or our R2 Mk3, R5 and R7 Mk3 models it’s easy to build a wireless multi-room system for quality synchronised sound wherever required.

Sonus faber pay homage to their Italian roots and to the artisans as well as the people who are responsible for developing Sonus faber products. Maxima Amator is a project started many years ago today, they achieve that dream: a two-way floor stander concept applied to a solid wood cabinet.

Sonus Faber is an Italian designer of handcrafted speakers and other high-end audio equipment based in Veneto, Italy. The name Sonus Faber is derived from a Latin phrase, literally translated as “handcrafted sound,” which makes for a perfect description of the products manufactured by this company. Sonus Faber was founded by Franco Serblin in 1983. Franco had remarkable taste and engineering ability and is regarded as one of the greats in the industry. His ideas are influencing the company’s philosophy until this day.

Since 1983, many moments have marked the history of Sonus faber; the launch of the Olympica Collection 6 years ago is one of them. One of the first lines presented as a complete family of products, but above all, the very first one to feature original drivers, entirely designed in Sonus faber.
Olympica Nova is the second generation of the iconic family of 2013, improved in its form and substance, imbued with the timeless values that inspired us in creating the original line.
